Melbourne Storm Honour Traditional Custodians

Respecting the Land

The Melbourne Storm Rugby League Club holds the Traditional Custodians of the land in the highest regard. We pay our respects to their Ancestors and Elders, both past and present. We acknowledge that the land on which we play and train is their traditional Country, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share it with them.

Acknowledgement of Country

Before each home game, the Storm acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land with a Welcome to Country ceremony. This ceremony is performed by an Aboriginal Elder, and it is a powerful way to show our respect for the Traditional Owners and their culture.

We believe that it is important to recognise the Traditional Custodians of the land, and to learn about their culture and history. We are committed to building strong relationships with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, and to working together to create a more inclusive and respectful society.

Recent Game: WEB Penrith Panthers 38 - 4 Melbourne Storm

The Melbourne Storm played the WEB Penrith Panthers on Friday 22nd September at Accor Stadium at 750pm. Despite a valiant effort, the Storm were defeated by the Panthers 38-4. The Storm will look to bounce back next week when they take on the Sydney Roosters at AAMI Park.
